Fast Producing Roly Poly Colony

A minimum of 10 roly polies that will create a productive colony in no time. 

Fast Producers love to eat and make babies. A fun species of isopod to have in your farm or vivarium. It won’t take long to see small babies hiding among the adults. Females will typically give birth to 3 to 4 clutches of 40-60 babies from early spring to mid fall and maybe one clutch in the winter. 

Fast Producers can grow to over 1/2 long and live 3-5 years. They become sexually mature and start producing babies around 6-8 months old. Yours will be approximately 6-8 months old when shipped.  

Fast Producers prefer 60-80% humidity and temperatures between 70-80 degrees F but can tolerate temperatures as low as 40 degrees. They will eat just about anything organic including most vegetables, grains, and fish food. Do not overfeed or the uneaten food will attract fruit flys. 

Just like all isopods/rolies, Fast Producers get along well with other species of isopods/rolies. 

Shipping is a flat $10 per order no matter how many isopods or species ordered. Orders totaling $35 or more include free standard shipping. 

If you purchased a Roly Poly Farm or Vivarium and have a voucher, you can mail it in to have your starter Colony reimbursed. When we receive your voucher in the mail, we will reimburse your order $10. One voucher per order allowed. Two or more vouchers needs two or more individual orders.
